Which Preventive Services Can I Get With No Out-of-Pocket Expenses? Depending on your age, you may have access at reduced or no cost to such preventive services as: » One adult routine preventive care visit annually: » Blood pressure, diabetes, and cholesterol tests; » Screening tests for many common types of cancers, including mammograms and colonoscopies (the test used to screen for colon cancer) in accordance with U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommendations; » Counseling from your health care provider on such topics as quitting smoking, losing weight, eating healthy, treating depression, and reducing alcohol use; » Routine vaccinations against disease, such as measles, polio, meningitis, 昀氀u and pneumonia shots in accordance with CDC recommendations; » Counseling, screening, and vaccines to ensure healthy pregnancies; and » Regular well-baby and well child visits from birth to age 21.
